AMIT KAUR is an international filmmaker working in features, documentaries and commercials.

Director of BFI Funded short 'Cuppa Chai', Amit is an alumna of Screenskills funded FILMONOMICS programme. She is currently developing her debut feature CROWN along with two shorts in pre-production

'Cuppa Chai' won at WOFF Glasgow and was selected for OBERHAUSEN, the longest running short film festival in the world, along with BAFTA and Academy qualifying Cleveland and Sunrise Film Festivals, among many other selections.

Amit also directs and produces Arts Council funded documentaries. Her experience spans across formats from India’s earliest web series to critically acclaimed international films and commercials. Working between India and UK, Amit is also on the UK Asian Film Festival board.
